I agree that the "rocking" versions of Banquet and SFS pale next to the originals, but
I still appreciate her taking the risks to rework her older songs to suit the band.
Wonder why she did ACOY and For Free in the traditional mode and changed these others?
Anyway, what show is this Refuge of the Roads taken from? I don't have a copy of it
and would love one. Seeing as how it's NOT available commercially, we should be
tree-ing this bad boy!
I DID just get a copy of the promo video that Geffen put out where she and the '83
band does 4 WTRF songs in a "live studio" setting. It's really a lot of fun, Joni
looks so sexy!
