A journalist once wrote that the broad Australian accent is
reminiscent of a dehydrated crow uttering its last statement on life
from the bough of a dead tree in the middle of a claypan at the peak
of a seven-year drought.
No need to worry, though, Jimmy. If we ever do get to talk
face-to-face my accents probably not that broad perhaps more that
of a reasonably well lubricated crow. :-)
