Hell knows about this, and I teased Marcel a bit today, and now that it's
official I want to share it with all of you, my friends:

I GOT A NEW JOB! An accounting/admin position at the United Nations
Foundation (www.unfoundation.org), beginning 3/26. My feelings are mixed
... a smidgen of sadness at the thought of leaving a group of people I
like a lot ... and a whole lotta happiness at returning to "my side of the
fence," politically. UNF is doing good things globally, and I'm thrilled
to be able to be a part of it, however small. (Of course my personal
opinion is that support staff are what the term implies: support, without
which a structure cannot stand for long, but I digress a bit.)

Lots of overtime ahead as my position, which is brand new, is established
and I get my footing. Since I'm also beginning a certification course in
Oracle on Sunday, I may be absent from the JMDL for awhile -- but you know
I'll return! (And I'll at least check in enough to find out the "what/if"
of the New England Jonifest!)

Please wish me well. I'm looking forward to this new adventure ... it's
gonna be good to be "home" again!

Best to all,
Lori
in DC (soon to be working closer to Dupont Circle, always a good thing!)
