Hi Julius,
Such a beautiful poem you've sent us. I especially like the phrase "Clinging like
death to innocence". It's bouncing around in my head for some mysterious reason.
Sounds painful but feels fine. Unlike Bob, your poem hasn't inspired me to wax lyrical
on any body parts, hairy or otherwise. Not publicly anyway.

"Moonstruck" is a wonderful movie. Thinking of the "Snap out of it" line still makes
me smile. Once in a while the moon over Manhattan does look huge, just like it did in
the movie. I don't know what atmospheric conditions exist to cause it to look that
way, but it's amazing when it does. It seems magnified and then it REALLY
feels close, like it's sitting on top of whatever building it happens to be over. Come
and see. Sounds to me like New York's calling you. :-)

After seeing David's post last night, I asked him to add me to the Yes column for the
NYC jonifest, and now I'm starting to get excited about it. It'll be such fun meeting
you, Julius, and other Joni folks too and sharing this most glorious city with you
all. Since it's a holiday weekend, the city will be filled with tourists
so it will be an unusually friendly place too. And considering who's already signed
up, the music is going to be great! Certainly an event to look forward to. Great way
to start the summer!

NPIMH too :-) ".... it's amore!"
