I first fell in love with Joni's music while having my portrait done.
The artist had been into Joni since her first album, I just sat, and
listened and wept. It was 1972 and I had lost both my parents and I was
barely 19. Since then Joni's music has been a source of strength,
wisdom and insight into my world of private emotions. It always seems
as if she is singing a song she wrote, just for me and my life
circumstances at the time.
I moved to the San Joaquin valley and was quite surprised to meet my
husband who was the only other person in this part of the world who
owned Joni music and listened to it as regularly as I did.
So I was fooling around the web looking for the lyric's to "Heart and
Mind" when I came across this list.
