Excellent point!  This was interesting to me because I'm usually very picky
about what I read.  As this topic was being discussed, the line, "so I
bought me a ticket, I caught a plane to Spain" popped into my head.  If I
would hear someone say that to me I would cringe, but it doesn't sound odd
in the song.  (And I never thought about it till now!)
