Two boring grandson stories:
Last Saturday I asked Gage if he would take care of me when I was old
and he said, "of course, and you're almost old, aren't you?" I take
comfort in the promise of care and that he doesn't think I'm old yet!
Signs you have a sx year old grandson: after tonight's NCAA extra game
was played, the Monster Truck competition was broadcast, and damned if I
didn't know all but one of the trucks. I had never been to a Monster
Truck race in my life until the kid came along, but we go every year
because he loves seeing the Monster Trucks crush all the cars! Be
assured, that one year we saw Monster Trucks one week, the Julliard
traveling company doing scenes from Nutcracker and other ballets the
following week. Life is a smorgosbard (spelling?) and I want him to
experience everything!
