Speaking if Folkweb. There are two artists in the "chicks with guitars"
section that I reccommend for those who haven't heard them yet. Lisa
McCormick - a very fine guitar player, clever songwriter - I used to play
with her some. I became her agent and manager later. Louise Taylor - I used
to play with her.She's a dear old friend. I did her booking for a while.
This woman has one of THE most BEAUTIFUL voices I have ever heard. Believe
they have both been on bills with Jonatha. All playing the same circuit for
years. The New England folk community is (historically) strong & cohesive
(and huge). Have you heard Erica Wheeler? She is a superb songwriter, good
