I'm passing on my computer (the recycle game) as I'm leaving Indonesia as of next week on my own personal Hejira, and so will be unable to participate in what has become a tremendously enjoyable year with everyone on the Line. What an insight to Joni this has been. Never did I ever think I'd ever think, eh?, about Joni so much and have insights into her world as I have done. Thanks to y'all. I'm so looking forward to meeting some of you in person - Rose, Alison and David in NYC, and Michael in N'awlins, if I can make it through. I'll be in Bonnie Scotland for a short week. I've been travelling so long, how'm I ever gonna know my home when I see it again. Then heading for the Big Apple and eventually Texas. As I raise a glass to the JMDL I'm thinking of a final poser. How many references does Joni make to drinking? No looking at your album sleeves - that's cheating. I met a friend of spirit, he drank and womanised. Man there are a few.
