I went to the newsstand today to buy a copy of "Q", the British music
magazine. They had the March 2001 issue but the story of "The Top 200
Album Covers" isn't in the March issue (with Screaming Street Preachers on
the cover).

I went to the biggest library in town and researched the National Geographic
Magazine's articles about the Amazon. I couldn't find the photo that
inspired the cover of The Hissing Of Summer Lawns. The library's Nat Geo's
Index pointed me to:
March '64 pp.737-758
October '72 pp.456 -495
November '77 pp.675 - 719 and
January '79 pp.60 - 83

Can anyone give me the exact issue and page? When I got home, I did some
digging and found that THOSL came out in '75. She could not have been
inspired by a photo published any later. (I think someone said that the Nat
Geo picture was published in '77.) In addition, I'm looking for the
photographer's name to include in my research.

Thanks,

Lama
