Just watched Dirty Pictures. Having heard all about the Maplethorpe
exhibition fuss, it was good to see this film and see what it was
about. It wasn;'t about distasteful pictures( i found some to be) at all
but about freedom. Although the man won his case, the so called moral
majority, or fascists, actually won becuase of the effect their
appalling harrassment of this man had. Now gallery's etc are too afraid
to rock the boat.(I also learned that Hustler is illegal in Cincinnati.
And I always thought USA was the home of freedom)
Have yet to see Best In Show. Has anybody? I have had several people
tell me about it but have seen nothing of it, no adverts, no write ups,
nothing. It is supposed to be very funny.
