Can anybody out there help me with some advice? I've just received copies of
Blue&FTR from Tower Records USA. I ordered HDCD copies of both, FTR has hdcd
on the disc and a yellow and black circle round the outer edge of the cd,
Blue does not.The Blue cd is the original yellow/gold steamboat disc.
I recently bought THOSL and Hejira hdcd remasters, both of these are US
issues and have hdcd on the discs and the yellow and black circle round the
outer edge.
I did read somewhere that if hdcd is not printed on the disc then it is not
a hdcd remastered copy. Is this the case? I would like to exchange it for a
genuine hdcd as ordered but i really am not sure if it is hdcd or it isn't.
Any advice welcome.
