thank you so much for saying that Jimmy. How could I not share my love for Eva
Cassidy's music here? Impossible.  As I have mentioned in prior posts...it is
phenomenal that each and every time I play her CD at work, we sell out of all of
them right then and there. Everyone wants to know... "who IS this??". Clients and
coworkers alike.

thanks to the generosity of a get well gift from our Dutch Uncle,  Brian and I
have an even better sense of Eva. After listening to a very touching, moving BBC
programme about her,  my understanding is that she was quite humble about her
many gifts and talents. The personal stories moved us to tears. Still.

I encourage everyone who does not know her music to allow Eva to enter your heart
for you will remain ever changed...touched by something that goes well beyond any
words my writerly heart could express.  Knowing that she died at such a young age
makes me so very sad. A terrible, terrible loss.

Eva Cassidy is indeed a precious jewel, a rare songbird. Her music is haunting
and uplifting all at once.
