i think that both sides was joni's first big try to sing pop lyrics. no more thick reach sentences, but basic words, which makes the album itself very basic. i think joni's aware of the use of pop lyrics, and in a wierd way, she's playing for the first time in her career her part of the girlie guile pop scene. maybe not for kids but surely for us. yours, nuriel
