Julius,
My best friend and I had this tradition of loudly singing out the first line
to "Night In The City" the moment we stepped off the campus every day after
high school. O.K., so we were kind of obnoxious, but hey, we made our fun
where we could and were always looking to insert Joni content in our little
day to day life ;-D We actually weren't that bad - a pack would last us 6
months back then. Wish it were still the same.
I remember the first time I tried smoking. Took a Tareyton out of my mom's
pack and went way down the street where a new school was under construction.
I sat hidden away on a pile of wood inhaling for the first time. I thought
I was going to pass out. I could barely walk home and was green for the
next several hours. To this day if I even hear the word Tareyton, I get
nauseous.
Thanks to Marian for sharing her quitting method. It sounds attractive to
me - kind of low impact and laid back.
