All this talk of smoking and the zealous behaviour of the "anti" lobby
reminded me of a Lily Savage (UK drag queen, now hosting prime time quiz
shows) monologue in which she said that she had been on a trip to California
. . . . .
"And there I was in the airport gasping for a fag (just in case you didn't
already know, this is UK slang for a cigarette) but they're bloody fascists.
You could pull out a gun and no-one would bat an eyelid. Try and light a
Lambert and Butler and there'd be a bloody SWAT team bundling you off to
jail."
I believe that I am a considerate smoker, I wouldn't dream of lighting up in
an enclosed space such as a car or someone's house that was a non-smoker.
However, I have my rights too!
Sadly, not everyone respects other people's rights and allows them to live
as they choose. Perhaps if we did, there would be less strife in the world?
