Seriously though, there was a family on our street
whose sons (late teens, early 20s) used to have an
annual end-of-school-year bash that went on alllllllll
night. The cops were called quite a few times (and
not just by cranky me! ;) So one year, they sent out
a notice IN ADVANCE of their party, letting people
know they were going to do it, apologizing in advance
if it would disturb anyone and asking them for some
indulgence. Not sure if this is the way to go or not,
but I didn't notice any cop cars at their house that
night.
