ashara, i think you're right, joni didn't smoke at that show. i think she
did at the msg theater show i saw a couple of days earlier.
in the 98 fall tour, she always smoked during 'comes love'. made an event
out of it.
patrick, still remembering the joy of seeing joni from the second row.
probably because i'm a dancer, i'm very twitchy and movey even while sitting
listening to music. when joni looked down and saw me bopping in my seat to
'sometimes i'm happy', she gave me the biggest smile, and smiled my way a
couple more times. i even think she forgave me for flirting with that
cellist on the right...
what a magnificent evening.
