Thanks Jerry, yeah, there is a huge difference. I think many women are ultra
sensitive to this subject with good reason. Sheesh, if it were me I am sure
I would be feeling giddy.

Let me just take this one step further. We live in a world where misogyny &
homophobia are still somewhat acceptable (or in some cases quite
marketable), in the way that racism ones was (in jokes, in songs, etc.)

This is not a request for political correctness. It is a request to take a
deeper look into some of the words that are used to describe people & see
how they might be offensive to a group as a whole. In this case women.

This isn't aimed at anyone in particular. I think at times in our lives,
each one of us (myself included) can stand a little education & cultural
sensitivity training. There is a big difference here between political
correctiveness (which I view as a superficial trying to be a certain way)&
cultural sensitivity (which I view as taking time to understand others).

Perhaps I am extra sensitive. I believe words have power. I think it is good
to choose them wisely.
