Hi all,
Colin thanks for the laugh this morning! After the past few days of posts it
was really needed! I've only been on the list for a few months and up until
the past couple of days it has been a real uplifting place for a mother of a
9month old to retreat to. Im sooo sorry for everyone's feelings being hurt.
i know a newbie cant understand the intensity of these relationships, but i
do know the reason we were all brought here.
i had a friend this past week who lost everything in a fire. she and i were
talking about how we all should have to go back to the basics sometime to
appreciate what we have. this point seems true here, too.
another point that i must make comes from something i learned in college in a
social work class...when your driving in your car, for instance, and a driver
cuts you off and keeps going. you, of course, get pissed off. you curse,
maybe? you give the finger, raise your blood pressure etc. but, the other
driver doesn't see all this and goes on with his day, feeling fine. you on
the other hand have let that person, who doesn't even know, affect you in a
negative way. and whose to say how long it will stay with you? as a lister
this is the approach i have chosen to take. the person writing the post does
not know how it is always taken, therefore, am i wrong in saying that its how
we respond or if we even respond at all. there are many times i haven't
responded to things that have raised an eyebrow or two. and many times I've
laughed and cried, but haven't written a post about it either.
i really have enjoyed yalls post and all the knowledge, friendships, and
compassion is truly amazing. Im anxious for it to return.

Colin a few weeks ago you posted something like these today and I was sooooo
confused. Thanks for clarifying today. Now after reading them twice I
understand. Hope mine and your households settle down!

No one wants to play. Brad swears at me, Clark keeps sticking his tongue
where a lady doesn't like it. The puppies are wimps and won't play with
