('chris' is fine btw amongst friends)
second curtain call:
introduces:
john scolfield, larry klein, vinny calieuta (wrong
spelling, but joni would pronounce it correctly - i
imagine she's good that way),herbie hancock and
branford marsalis, each to thunderous applause. then
in the late night smog that is hollywood:
1. dry cleaner from des moines
2. goodbye pork pie hat
3. hellhound on my trail (a la: cassandra wilson)
4. herbie's piano solo/summertime/john's guitar solo/
   free man in paris
(and by now of course, the union laborers are so
impressed by the happening that is unfolding, they
allow two more numbers):
5. twisted
joni re-introduces peter gabriel to pandemonium
(mostly by me i suspect) and they and the band reprise

6. summertime (pg's done it as well)/in you eyes/
   woodstock
and even though coyote rick and all do not want to
leave, we must because we jmdlers are invited to a
private party at the 'cat and fiddle' tavern.
rick - where in hollywood? i lived at the corner on
kingsley and sunset, there was a Shakey's Pizza on the
corner. i moved there after 5 months in an apartment
at vermont ave up by the entrance of griffith park.
(corner of vermont and franklin - where some of
"double indemnity" with fred mcmurray was shot). boy!
can i ramble :)
have an awesome day - chris(topher)
