Okay. First off, I agree with you, as always, dear. I don't find it
offensive. That said, some people just don't like "gossip". If a friend
told you about personal detail, that's cool and part of why friends are
important to each other- we share a layer of intimacy that strangers don't.
But if you then discuss that personal detail with 5 others, to some people,
it's gossip and unseemly. (Or in this case, 700 others...)
