Here is the latest scoop on plans for Midwest Jonifest:
We have chosen the weekend of June 16th, which is a Saturday.
In the typical Milwaukee tradition, as Milwaukee has a corner bar on
just about every block, we would have Midwest Jonifest at a nice corner bar
called the 1100 Club.
IF WE HAVE RESERVATIONS OF 20 TO 25 PEOPLE, WE CAN HAVE THE 1100 CLUB
TO OURSELVES FOR THE WHOLE EVENING, INCLUCING DINNER. Michael the owner
asured me of dinner prices to be around 10-12 dollars per person. (THEY
SERVE GREAT FOOD, GENEROUS PORTIONS!)There would be live music/
jukebox/(karaoke?)afterwords- depending on how many performers show up.
Since this is coming so fast and Kerry just though of it (lol)! We would
like some input, feedback ASAP!

Do you want this to be a whole weekend thing, or just a Saturday?
Friday could be a meet and greet at one of the fine restaurants like
Elsa's, with A Joni Boat Tour on Sat afternoon,, followed by dinner and
music at the 1100 Club.
Brunch could also be handled on Sunday at the 1100 Club.
I am still working on hotel info for folks.
The sooner I know how many people are seriously interested, the sooner
Michael will give us his club! I have a week or so to let him know. We can
have our party there regardless of how many people show, but if it's less
than 20, the bar will remain open.
Milwaukee is a summer city- there is a festival happening EVERY weekend
in summer here- including Church festivals, all the typical touristy stuff,
so there is plenty to do.
Kerry and I would like to invite everyone- originally, it was just to be
a Madison/ Milwaukee/ Chicago thing, but what the heck!
This is scary! Ashara help!
