I'd delurk for nothing less than adding my voice to the masses!
The JMDL is a special place and it is people like Mark that make it and keep
it that way. A voice of reason when things run rough, a voice of provocative
thought when things get dull. Someone who is always sure to catch any Ayn
Rand or Lillian Hellman or Hellman's Mayonnaise references.
His knowledge of Billy Holiday has broadened my enjoyment of jazz singing and
he is the author of an awfully good piece of Joni writing that has added to
my Joni database.
And one hell of a good looking guy. I may not have barged in on him changing
his clothes at Ashara's, but I've seen him in a suit and tie and hubba,
hubba, mama!
Happy Birthday Mark!
love,
MG
PS Wally, are you SURE you are sorry? (:-D
