that was valuable information, don, and its a gross and sickening
situation...canada has more regulation, including 'canadian content'
law...how long that will last is dubious, but for the moment, canadians long
established as well as newcomers like jan arden get more airplay...our cbc
is powerful...and in alberta, an independent station of university origin,
CKUA has diverse and powerful multi-signalling, gathering a large
audience...its somewhat like PBS...maybe more PBS like radio stations are an
answer to this payola pork-barelling...
