Just a couple other little notes about "People's Parties"... Love the way Joni says the first line, especially her stretched out "sty-y-y-y-yle"...great Joni-ism, and I think that vocally she's alluding to the pretensious atmosphere. Any other writer would use the phrase "phony smiles" or something like it as opposed to "Passport smiles", which says so much more. Bob NP: Lucinda, "Sweet Old World"
