Prince has declared his admiration for Joni publicly, and Joni in turn has
said that she remembers this "birdlike" (she had some more apt description,
I forget) guy in the front row at one of her shows that was concentrating
intensely on her performance, so she sang the rest of the show right
to him.  This would have been before he became known.
