Well, last week I mentioned picking up what was billed as a "live import"
that had an early concert of Joni's. Found out that I paid like 6 times
what I should have for something JMDLers have on the tape tree. (I never
participated on the tape tree just because I'm lazy. :) Yesterday, I came
across something that looked of the same ilk, at a difference CD store.
This was a 2 CD set, again of early Joni performances. The cover said from
'67 and '68. I can't remember where it said they were recorded, but from
the sound of it, it was some coffee house/club that Joni performed at
regularly in those years. Anyway, they wanted something like 50 bucks for
the set. I passed on it.
Anyway, has anyone else run across these things? I find it interesting
that I've seen two in different stores withing a week of each other.
