I wonder if the disc you just got wasn't originally purchased from her
website? Don't know if you 've been there, but she's made lots of live
stuff (entire albums worth) available for purchase as MP3 downloads.
Plus you can get the original "Ghostyhead" album from her site as
downloads. I snagged a copy a couple of years ago after it was out of
print but could still be had in a few stores. And you can get the
Ghostyhead Sessions at West 54th performance as MP3s. Not everyone is
crazy about that album, but I think it is utterly brilliant. Also got
her live in Portland CD and Chain Austin Live discs. Those you can
buy as discs or as downloads. You can get individual songs or entire
concerts-- just 75 cents an MP3, all the $$ goes to Rickie Lee, and
the quality is tremendous. And you can listen to every song available
in its entirety in streaming audio before you buy so you know exactly
what you're getting.
