Does anyone ever use the Joni chat room these days? If so, when? Wally tells
me he used to "live" there. I'm often "alive" i.e. up for something other
than the excrutiatingly tediously boring Letterman / Leno so called
entertainment circa 10:35 Texas time. Recently gotten into the MSN
customised radio thang. Sho' nuff typed in Joni. They play a station based
on "your" choice of artist, so they offer. Interesting who they come up with
as being "like" Joni. Oddly enough no-one I'd choose, but then again I don't
particularly like Joan Baez. I was expecting Rickie Lee Jones, Joan
Armatrading, Bonnie Raitt and kd lang. As far as lassies go, those are my
Jonis .... call 'em what you will.

This is my Joni group.
Mentioning the MSN radio, I sampled some of David Lahm's Joni jazzes there
and boy did he sound groovy. Wish I could be in NYC for the Mem Day and
chantalong David, alas. Still not sure if I'm gonna make the Labor Day Fest
in Aug. I need peer group pressure! Soonest,
