This comment however I thought explained why Joni made the statement that she did. If one assumes that by simply being labeled something that need to or must or "have to" go a certain distance by subjective judgement then thats probably why she doesnt want to be lumped into the morass of the political issue as this statement implies she would be compelled to do.
