Hi Bob,
I think there is also a version somewhere of her playing LCL at the
Edmonton folk festival (maybe the same year?). This is one of the
most gutsy performances Joni has ever given in my opinion. She had
not appeared in front of an audience in years and gets up and plays
probably one of the most difficult songs she has ever written (not
only difficult to play and sing, but also emotionally because it was
about her breakup with Klein). What a woman. Her courage boggles
the mind. I still think Joni's Turbulent Indigo period was her best
(and remember this is still pre-VG8).
