So I'm driving yesterday listening to my favorite radio station, KLON
(http://www.klon.org) and there comes on "A Case of You". Turned out to
be from Jane Monheit's just released disc, "Come Dream With Me." The
vocal is mostly unremarkable but has some nice moments while the
highlight is some tasty and elegant guitar from Richard Bona.

I'm not sure how I feel about this woman yet. She walks that line of
being too safe and soulless but then she turns and makes great choices.
The biz wants her to be the "next big thing" in a Diana Krall kinda way
so she always gets great session players for her work (Kenny Barron,
Christian McBride), but I'm just not sure she cuts it.

I don't think this has been mentioned on the list yet, so I thought I'd
bring it up.

Bob - A friend is sending the disc to me so as soon as I get it, I'll
forward the track on.
