hi having finally moved to a new city, (no more 1,00 mile commutes - whhooopppeee!!) i decided on saturday night to go out & haave a look around. jumped into my car, popped sophie b hawkins' "timbre" into the cd player & off i went. i drove straight along a road for a while, then saw a shopping mall, so i decided to go have a peek-see. up the escalator, turn right, down the hall, & what should i see - "cd wherehouse" when i walked in the door, & saw a large display of "red dirt girl" marked "guaranteed - we are so confident youll like this well refund your money if you dont" (most sa cd shops have a no exchange/no refund policy) straightaway i knew i was at home. big displays of goerge harrison as well!! defintely no average cd shop!! lovely big shop, nice selection of joni albums (including the 2 cd set of s&l), a wonderful looking emmylou harris boxed set (3 cds & a book - around us$ 25.00), tons of laurie anderson, billy bragg, joan baez, a whole pile of johnny winter, all the stuff ive been looking for for some time now. <sigh> bliss (& there goes the budget..) does anyone know if cds are psychic?? the way i drove straight to that particular mall, in a large city, with absolutely no knowledge of where i was going kind of blew my mind. ron
