Hi Deborah! Glad to hear you're able to put a date with that recording. One
of my favorites, and I'm just as shocked that I remembered exactly what she
said! I must listen to my live stuff too obsessively.

And tape trading is always welcome on this list, although we rarely discuss
it or have trees. I personally don't know Joni's feelings on the subject,
but in one of the Morning Becomes Eclectic interviews she notes people in
the audience recording with tape recorders...

Which brings up something. There are some bands out there who do allow
taping, a great majority, yet there are several who don't allow it in part
because they don't want their off-nights to be recorded (how they can say
this when it's being recorded even before they start playing is beyond me).
I wonder if Joni is one of these people. I do have a few recordings where
Joni does sound "off" or the audience is less than attentive.
