Hi Rob,
(so nice to know of another RT fan).. on the Richard Thompson discussion list,
his manager said that Richard would like to perform some Joni songs, but
there's a problem with getting permission from Joni. He didn't specify what
type of problem and it seems strange considering how many people have recorded
her songs, but maybe performing them live is more complicated. Or maybe Joni
just doesn't like the way he does her songs. I'd love to hear him do Woodstock
again since he so thoroughly captured me with that one.
