Am leaving soon for the much-anticipated Midwest Mini-fest in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, USA. Am looking forward to meeting Diane, and re-meeting Kerry
and Steve. Unfortunately, though, it appears that Jody from Chicago will
not be joining us as planned, due to illness. We wish her a speedy
recovery. And we'll try to check in soon!
On another topic: a warm HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Patrick Leader (Patrick, are you
still out there??). And with that: fond thoughts of Kenny Grant, with whom
Patrick shared that birthday, much to the delight of both.
Finally, to all literary geeks on the JMDL ("literary geeks, I am one"), a
most happy and memorable Bloomsday to you all.
