Song Interpretations

Some time ago I had a friend listen to Song For Sharon.  I asked her what she 
thought it was about.  After the song was over she said matter-of-factly: 
"She wants to have an affair with Sharon's husband."  I was facsinated with 
her interpretation because I had never thought that.  Anyone ever heard that 
in the song?
