Well there it is, straight from the horse's ...um...mouth...
I like this explanation better than my own mental image of her
peeing her way across the parking lot!
My take on this song is that, apart from the setup at the
beginning:
"There was a moon and a street lamp
I didn't know I drank such a lot
Till I pissed a tequila anaconda
The full length of the parking lot!"
the rest of the song is a direct (one way) conversation
she is having with "Mr. Mystery".
The rhythm of the acoustic guitar and Jaco's amazing
bass playing, the general starkness of the production
blow me away every time.
