I was thinking of Eddie Albert (Oliver Douglas on the show), whose son
Edward Albert Jr. was in a movie (based on a play) called "Butterflies
Are Free", and his female co-star....Goldie Hawn, who as you know does
a great job of "Carey" and who is also still way too good looking for
my own good!

Geez, you write & write your thoughts about Joni's words & music.
Maybe one or two people respond if you're lucky. Then you mention
'Green Acres' in a post an lo and behold, a thread is born! LOL!
It's a bit more convoluted but here's what I came up with:
Eddie Arnold starred with Eva Gabor in Green Acres
Eddie Arnold made a movie with Gregory Peck & Audrey Hepburn called
'Roman Holiday'
Audrey Hepburn was in a movie called 'Breakfast at Tiffanies' in which
she sang a lovely Johnny Mercer song called 'Moon River'
'Moon River' was the theme song for Andy Williams' variety show in the
60s.
Andy Williams was married to Claudine Lingerie oops, I mean Longet who
recorded one of the versions of 'Both Sides Now' in Bob's special
'Cheeses of the World' section of the Cover's Project! (and Andy
recorded it himself, too!)
Voila!
