Yes, that's Abe's back. We were packed in like sardines and the guys were
so jumping that it wasn't easy to get a clear shot, but I like that one of
Michael, too. Vinnie is barely visible between them on the drums. I
briefly spoke to Michael after the show and he seems so humble and nice.
Those guys have a 2-CD album out "Live at the Baked Potato" that has gotten
some rave reviews. (Maybe after I pay off the upcoming Buff. Springfield
box set, I'll order it ;-) Check this out from Landau's website:
"When he wasn't playing sessions, he found time to perform in side-projects
such as the afore-mentioned KARIZMA, which he joined in the late seventies,
and a group called Dog Cheese that featured members of Joni Mitchell's
'83-'84 touring band: Vinnie Colaiuta (dr), Larry Klein (bass) and Steve
Tavaglione (sax). They played a lot of shows in the L.A. area at places like
The Baked Potato (still a highly recommended jazz and fusion place when
you're in L.A.)."
"Dog Cheese??" Eeeeuuuu! ;-)
I'm still high off the music the other night and do feel very blessed that
these guys still show up to jam in the neighborhood sometimes.

Excellent!! Pace yourselves, now, and report back when you resurface ;-)
