Shock, horror - I thought I'd got Kamahl out of my life forever!  I should
have known he'd turn up on the covers sooner or later!  I don't know too
much about him, other that I think he was actually born in India, but has
lived most of his life here, so has no trace of an accent (other that a Kiwi
one).  He was pretty popular here with the "older" crowd in the late-70's -
if you can imagine grannies swooning to his velvet-smooth voice.  I know my
mother liked him, and she'd normally only listen to opera, and Gilbert &
Sullivan.  I'd compare him to someone like Perry Como, but with a deeper
voice.
