Shock, horror - I thought I'd got Kamahl out of my life forever! I should have known he'd turn up on the covers sooner or later! I don't know too much about him, other that I think he was actually born in India, but has lived most of his life here, so has no trace of an accent (other that a Kiwi one). He was pretty popular here with the "older" crowd in the late-70's - if you can imagine grannies swooning to his velvet-smooth voice. I know my mother liked him, and she'd normally only listen to opera, and Gilbert & Sullivan. I'd compare him to someone like Perry Como, but with a deeper voice.
