I stand corrected, and apologise for my wee gaffe (sorry, John)! Actually I'm kind of glad he's not a Kiwi.....just kidding! I did always think of him as being based here though - I know he did tour here a lot, so that may be where the confusion arose. And I wasn't that old at the time! And Bob, I think you're right in describing him as more like Robert Goulet than Perry Como. I also seem to have memories of him in a burgundy velvet suit, with a cravat. Very lounge-ish, if you know what I mean. Suffice it to say, I don't have any Kamahl albums in my collection, and unless I find another Joni cover, I never will! Hell P.S. John - condolences on Australia's loss to the Lions - they are a pretty good side, mind you, they've always put together strong teams. And thank God the All Blacks managed to beat France - yet another small slice of retribution for the 1999 World Cup debacle! ____________________________ "To have great poets, there must be great audiences too." - Walt Whitman [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hell's Personal Photo Page: http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~hell/main/personal.htm Visit the NBLs (Natural Born Losers) at: http://www.nbls.co.nz
