hi all !
just wanted to take some bandwidth to say "hi" to everyone.
i have recently re-sub-scribed to the list after my excellent vacation in
italy. i've been going through the archives to see what has been going on.
looks like you have all been behaving ;-)
that was my first time to europe and i have been seriously bitten by a
traveling bug. i intend to go back to study in florence next year at the
lorenzo de'medici art institute there.
upon my return, i had 3.5 weeks of mail to go through and, to my delight, i
received a demo copy of sherelle's songs. i immediately popped it into the
tape player. my husband was asking " who is this?" when i told him that it
was a person from the list who is about my age and perusing a career for
herself his response was "why was she waiting so long!" he wants to know
where we can see sherelle perform! this is just another fine example of the
many talented people on this list. i am honored to know the wonderfully
talented people on the jmdl.
before i left for italy i had the most wonderful time with list members
roberto, patrick (his sister karen) and kay for dinner and an evening at
sondheim's "follies" in nyc. the music was fantastic! it was really good
to see my friends again. i never took the time to educate myself to the
beautiful scores from musicals. thanks you guys!
i look forward to seeing a bunch of you at ashara's in a couple of months.
thanks for the bandwidth....
as ever,
heather

italian parallel for "shadows & light"
