What an incredible sojourn and a beautiful post, Shane! You visited so many
fantastic places and had some womderful encounters - I imagine you are
overflowing with songs at this point. Thanks so much for your thoughts on
the Joni/Fort McLeod/Amelia connection and the tie-in of how the children
born in wartime later emerged as the peacemaker generation. I've always
respected Joni for honoring those who served, while still being a profound
advocate for peace and getting ourselves back to the garden.
It was great to spend some time with you in LA and I look forward to seeing
your photos!
