I'm trying to identify the name of a Cat Stevens song, and what album it is on.
It is in Harold and Maude - right at the scene when they are lying in bed
and Harold is blowing bubbles.
It starts "I think I see the light... shining through me..."
And the chorus repeats "Shine shine shine".
Harold and Maude being one of my favorite movies of all time, long ago I
went on a search for a soundtrack only to learn that a soundtrack had never
been released. There is an album called "Greatest Hits 2" which has most of
the Harold and Maude songs on it... but not all.
I was reminded of this song last night when I was at Cosi - which just
opened in Ann Arbor (I hear they're all over NYC). That place has the best
corporate music I have ever heard. Seriously - the second time I went in
there "The Hissing of Summer Lawns" started playing. I have also heard 2
Sarah Harmer songs, 2 Jonatha Brooke songs (!)... mmm.
