Speaking of NOLA Jazz, Michael, I thought about you last night as my wife & I went to
see The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. They were late in starting because somebody ripped off
their ENTIRE trailer with all their equipment! The Greenville Symphony came to their
aid and donated instruments for them to use, and they sounded great! They definitely
rocked the house, but actually the reason I went to see them was to catch the opening
act, a young band from NY called Cecilia. They have an Ani DiFranco meets Eddie From
Ohio sound and they played a great set. They also just signed with Atlantic and will
have their debut CD out next year. I'm anxious to see what will happen with them!
