Barbara, unfortunately the market for vinyl is limited. You can try and sell to a
local record store, but it's very doubtful that they'd pay very much. The web, and
particularly E-Bay, is your best bet to maximize your return. BUT it is the most
time-intensive method...it takes lots of time to post and manage your auctions. It
also pays to do some research first to see what your items may be worth. This is very
easily done on E-Bay, and worth the effort as really common items won't sell and will
wind up costing you money in terms of E-Bay insertion fees.

There ARE some record stores that will buy your collection in total, they can be found
all over the web. Obviously, you may not make as much per album, but it's not near as
time intensive. If you haven't already established a database/spreadsheet of your
collection, you'll want to go ahead and do that as I'm sure that would be the first
thing a store would want to see.

Joni items seem to sell well, even vinyl records. Be sure they are in good condition,
hopefully they are free of scratches & skips.

I'm in the process of dealing my record collection on E-Bay as we speak. It's always
surprising how some things generate a lot of bids and some things fall flat.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to mail me privately and I'll be glad to
help in any way I can.
