Great explanantion, Don, and I'll just add to that the proliferation of and 
REQUIREMENT of the music video & MTV as a sales tool. Lots of money & focus went to 
creating visuals for these folks as opposed to music. Some could succeed at both, like 
Peter Gabriel, but it was certainly an issue and again was driven by the listening 
public.

Thankfully there seems to be much less of a focus on music videos today, or is it just 
that I don't notice them?
