Great thread Vince! And Mark, this comment of yours made
me smile! Ive never heard that expression. While I am not
real hung up on cars either, Im pretty excited about my
current one. Not only does it get me from point a to
point b, it is the first car that Ive driven that is
actually safe and not rusted to the core , does not
bounce up and down like crazy (read: struts?? what
struts???) And get this! if I look at a bump in the road.
I dont have to say a bunch of prayers prior to turning
the key. All of which I had to do when I drove Das Boat
aka fugly huge brown blick gawd awful headache of a thing
into the ground last October. My sand coloured (no beige
for this baby!) Toyota Corolla is the absolute best BEST
thing going in my most humble opinion of course. No bells
and whistles, but who cares, it is a real treat to drive.
Hey, I'll even share the wheel ;-)

np outside: the sounds of insomnia; birds singing praises
to the morning

nta: plans to play WTRF again because of all this talk
of late. One of the many reasons why I love this list is
that it makes me reexamine why it is that I get stuck on
those middle cds. Happy to give it another go. Im just
not all that familiar with it...oh but I do love Chinese
Cafe, a lot. Perhaps Brei and I can do an indepth
analysis on the weekend and report back to you ;-)

And this loving is a drawing close,
a tuning in, an opening.
Until one perfect moment;
but how can it be expressed?
A receiving, an enfolding
as I cradle you in my arms.
Within my heart, within my soul,
You are my true love.
